During my search for Filipino American children's books to include in our library, I discovered numerous captivating titles written by Filipino authors, prompting me to showcase them here.

As I read this to my children, I was taken aback when tears welled up in my eyes towards the end. I don't usually cry easily, but the touching story of Gliceria Marella de Villavicencio truly moved us. This narrative is bound to inspire courage, hope, and faith in many, making it a wonderful inclusion in any children's library. Well done, Maxine!

While looking for more Filipino children's book authors, I discovered a meticulously created book by Jme Foronda featuring thoroughly researched illustrations of specific Filipino tribal attire. I admire artists who dedicate themselves to integrating historical culture into their work. The bundle I bought includes signed books, 15 postcards, 9 art prints, 18 stickers, and a mini zine! In my opinion, the price for this gorgeous collection was a fantastic deal! Excellent work Jme!
