Melissa Leslie-Quinones

Sticky Rice Stories, Founder

Filipino/American Author/Illustrator, Melissa Leslie-Quinones realized that more of her heritage and culture could be further lost if she didn't make it a point to intentionally create content for her children and their peers.  As an ambitious entrepreneur she took the leap in writing children's books infused with Filipino language, history, mannerisms with American context.  These series of works would become known as The Filipino Project manifesting into children's books, animations, toys, songs, fine art, recipes and apparel.
